• Camouflaged hunting gear (bear hunting is usually warm during the day and cool at night)
• Heavy socks
• Long underwear

• Guns and Bows (Proof of ownership if crossing the border)
• Rifle (.270 to 30.06 are most commonly used)
• Bow (50lb draw or more)
• Portable Tree Stand (optional)
• Safety Harness (if you hunt from a tree stand)
• Compass or GPS
• Coolers (to take meat and hide home)
• Bug Head Net
